Orange Almond Pie

The cake is very tasty. Boil the oranges and chop them in a puree. Add almond flour, baking powder, liquor, separately beaten egg yolks and whites with sugar and mix.

Put the resulting dough into a mold and bake for an hour. Cool the finished cake, cut into portions. If desired, garnish with icing sugar and mint leaves.

 

Ingredients

  • Sugar200 gr
  • Almond flour400 gr
  • Eggs4 pieces
  • Orange2 pieces
  • Baking powder1 tsp
  • Orange liquor1 tbsp
Method

  • Pour the oranges with water, put on a fire and cook 25 minutes after boiling. Then drain, refill with cold water and boil again for 25 minutes.
    After that, cut the oranges into pieces and chop them in mashed potatoes.

  • Add almond flour, baking powder and liquor to the orange puree and mix.

  • Beat the egg yolks in lush foam for 10 minutes. Beat whites with sugar separately.
    Add the yolks to the dough, then the whites and stir.

  • Put the dough in a greased form and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for an hour. Cool the finished cake and cut into portions.


If desired, garnish with icing sugar and mint leaves.
